Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Free trial
Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial. No payment method is required to start, so you can evaluate Yearspan fully before you ever pay. You are charged only if you choose to subscribe.
Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by emailing support@yearspanretirement.com.
- When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period and does not renew afterward. It will not auto-renew once canceled.
- Your locally stored plan stays on your device. Export it from Settings (plaintext or encrypted) if you want to keep working with it after your access ends.
Refunds
- If you are not satisfied, contact us within [14] days of a charge and we will provide a full refund of that payment. [Confirm window/terms with counsel and align with Paddle's policy.]
- Renewal charges may be refunded at our discretion where required by law or where the Service was unusable due to our fault.
- Because the trial lets you evaluate the product before paying, we generally do not prorate partial periods after the refund window.
How billing is processed
Payments and refunds are handled by our merchant of record, Paddle. Refunds are issued to your original payment method through Paddle and may take several business days to appear. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply.
